Mom’s Stuffed Clams
- 2 dozen clam shells
- 2 cans clams
- 1 cup flavored bread cumbs
- 4 cloves finely minced clams
- 4 tbsps finely chopped or minced garlic
- 4 tbsps chopped Italian parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt not coarse
- 8 tbsps olive oil
- 2 scant tsps oregano
Sauteé garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, crumbs in olive oil for 2 minutes.Put in a bowl, add clams, juice and salt, MixSpoon into shellsSprinkle well with more crumbs, parmesan and paprika and dribble olive oil over the top of each clam. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes
